Dylasau Crosstown Gold (affectionately known as "Nugget") demonstrates the classic Irish temperament along with strikingly good looks. Awarded Class 1 at the age of three well before full maturity, Nugget impressed the Irish inspectors with his true to type conformation and beautiful rare coloring. They noted his strong forearm and hindquarter, large flat knees, short cannon bones and “grand big hooves!” He was 16.0 hands with 9” of bone at his inspection, and is expected to finish at 16.1-16.2 and develop even more bone as he matures. Nugget shows a balanced uphill canter which should serve his offspring well in the hunter or dressage ring. He should produce outstanding sport horses, adding bone and foot strength to high blood type mares, and produce purebreds of traditional Irish Draught type and size. It is no surprise that he is also attracting breeders of future foxhunters looking to produce a homebred Irish Hunter.
