Foxglen Himself was a remarkable Class 1 stallion with a magnificent presence. He was by Finbarr out of Sally and had 10" of good flat bone. He was foaled in 1991 and stood at 16.2h. He was true to type and very athletic with elastic gaits. His temperament was truly outstanding and he was an amazing ambassador of the breed. He goes back to the gorgeous Pride of Shaunlara as well as Flagmount Boy. He was born in Great Britain and imported to the US as a nine year old. He placed third in the stallion class at the Royal Dublin Horse Show. 

He is the sire of many successful purebred and partbred stock in Ireland, England, Canada and the US. Foxglen has an approved RID stallion named Carrickrock Close Shave who has many successful breeding stock as well as performance progeny in England and Ireland. He also has a Class 1 grandson, Carrickcottage Star, also standing in Ireland. Foxglen's progeny have successfully been used as breeding stock, show jumping, hunters, dressage, and fox hunting.
